Skottie Young is an award-winnning writer, illustrator and cartoonist. For over ten years, he has worked for entertainment and publishing companies such Marvel, Warner Bros., Image, Upper Deck, Mattel, and many more. He illustrated the New York Times Best Selling and Eisner Award-winning adaptions of L. Frank Baum’s OZ novels with writer Eric Shanower, gaining acclaim from both fans and critics. Skottie also wrote and illustrated the series ROCKET RACCOON for Marvel Entertainment. After doing more than one hundred comics covers in two years, he has put his stamp on nearly ever character Marvel has in their catalog.
He is currently writing and illustrating his own series I HATE FAIRYLAND for Image Comics. He lives in Illinois with his wife, two kids, and their dogs.
