Notes

Film

  • Starts with the Reek getting ready to gore Jango after trampling him terribly, and ends with C-3PO pinned under a Super Battle Droid.

Podcast

  • The dichotomy that is Jango Fett: He very efficiently kills a Reek, but does not handle himself well against Mace Windu.
  • It should have been Obi-Wan fighting against Jango, and Jango should have lasted until Revenge of the Sith.
  • Jango Fett's jetpack malfunctioning was an addition to the DVD release.
  • When Jango Fett gets decapitated, a shadow of a head comes flying out of the helmet.
  • This scene provides some good background on Boba Fett's development.
  • "Die, Jedi dogs!" seems to fit neither battle droids nor C-3PO.
  • Sarrissa Jeng is one of the few Jedi in the background that get a line of dialogue.
  • The Jedi extras are just moving around flailing.
  • The Jedi do not seem to have any strategy for this battle, which seems odd.

Meta Minute

  • 28:58 podcast episode length.

Quotes

  • Mike: ... and then I have to meet [Darth Maul's] brother... Alex: Steve Maul. Mike: Coleman Maul.
  • Pete: Inside the droid factory... which is a terrible TV show...
