I guess it's up to us to set that standard. In general, I've been trying to keep it true to the original (not that anybody's gonna notice), or if I do some editing, I use ellipses when I cut something out, and square brackets when I need to add something in. Editing quotes

I guess it's up to us to set that standard. In general, I've been trying to keep it true to the original (not that anybody's gonna notice), or if I do some editing, I use ellipses when I cut something out, and square brackets when I need to add something in.
