Template talk:NavTPM
You know what would be easier... We already pass in the film name ("The Phantom Menace") for the category, so how about a "Nav buttons" template, that takes that as an argument? Then you just need to enter the previous and next frame. Let me work out an example... Spookypeanut (talk) 05:25, 31 May 2016 (PDT)
Sure sure sounds good. Always interested in making things easier. --Kabutton (talk) 05:36, 31 May 2016 (PDT)
Template:NavButtons, used on Phantom Menace Minute 136: A Handful of Cobalt (and also in the episode template). What's the easiest way to create the redirects? I couldn't see it Spookypeanut (talk) 05:37, 31 May 2016 (PDT)
Yeah I've just been using Microsoft Excel to quickly create a vector of redirect links (by concatenating TPM with a list of episode numbers etc.) and then entering then in manually. It actually goes by pretty quickly doing it that way. I'd love to figure out an even faster way of doing it, but if there isn't, that will work just fine with me. If we're committed to doing nsv buttons for every regular episode, I can go ahead and make the redirects for each episode (even the ones that haven't been made yet) so they'll be ready to go once the pages are created --Kabutton (talk) 05:42, 31 May 2016 (PDT)
I think it makes sense, makes the wiki much nicer to use. Will the NavButtons template work for you, so we can add it to the Template:EpisodeTemplate? Pain to go back and redo what you've done though :-( Spookypeanut (talk) 05:49, 31 May 2016 (PDT)
