--Kabutton (talk) 11:01, 18 April 2016 (PDT)I think you could be right! I only got my account last week, so I'm splurging now, I suspect the novelty will wane slightly, but I hope that I'll carry on contributing somewhat :-) I'm not very up on communicating via wiki, hopefully you'll see this! Spookypeanut (talk) 05:07, 18 April 2016 (PDT)

Btw, hope you don't mind the huge changes I've been making! I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for people to add episodes / guests. I love the subcategories btw, didn't even know that was possible! Hopefully you can see my plan by looking at Phantom Menace Minute 105: Undercover Boss, John Mathot and Etiquette and Protocol. If you don't like anything, just start a talk on the page and we can discuss it. Spookypeanut (talk) 06:03, 18 April 2016 (PDT)

I started a talk: Category_talk:Episodes#In_main_and_subcategory.2C_or_just_subcategory.3F Spookypeanut (talk) 06:08, 18 April 2016 (PDT)

Do you know if there's a way to report spam accounts / delete spam pages? I can delete the contents, but that bothers my obsessive side :-) Spookypeanut (talk) 08:46, 18 April 2016 (PDT)

I've deleted a few spam pages and blocked the spam users that posted them. I'm sure there are other spam users, but I'm going to leave them be unless they actually make a spam page. --Kabutton (talk) 09:16, 19 April 2016 (PDT)

Can I get your opinion on this please: Template_talk:SWM:WETemplate#Template_name Spookypeanut (talk) 08:30, 20 April 2016 (PDT)

Rachael (Noel) Fox

I went with rnf in the end, because that's what she has on her Twitter bio. So long as we get all links to the same place (and probably a redirect too) it doesn't really matter ☺

Ok cool. Yeah I just wanted to make sure they were consistent since it was about half with and half without. With is fine with me. --Kabutton (talk) 12:42, 25 April 2016 (PDT)

Now I can't decide... since starwarsminute.com uses "Rachael Fox" throughout! Let's just leave it as it is, we can always decide later. I'm willing to bet I'll have changed my mind again by the end of the week! Spookypeanut (talk) 05:50, 26 April 2016 (PDT)

Gun that shoots lightsabers

(I know you won't see this for a while, putting it here so I don't forget about it) Should we add Pete's favourite thing, a gun that shoots lightsabers, to the running jokes? It's not really a joke, but it comes up regularly enough that I feel it needs a mention somewhere. Spookypeanut (talk) 05:59, 27 April 2016 (PDT)

I say go for it. I'm always looking for ways to distinguish this wiki from the regular wookieepedia. I feel like they would never cover that most fabled of weapons, so that means we have to. The inside References /running jokes page seems like a fine place for it, since it's for things that get brought up on the show and are sort of running themes--Kabutton (talk) 10:51, 9 May 2016 (PDT)

User Rights

Hey there, do you know if we can "approve" users? All Chris's edits are showing as "unpatrolled", and we really don't need to patrol them! Spookypeanut (talk) 08:26, 8 June 2016 (PDT)

Pretty sure you have to be a bureaucrat (Pete) to change what group a user is in, or to change the rights of a group of users. For the time being I'm fine with just marking all his edits as patrolled.--Kabutton (talk) 09:15, 8 June 2016 (PDT)

Weekend Edition pictures

Thanks for doing the weekend edition pictures, they all look fabulous! I don't know how you do them so quickly! Spookypeanut (talk) 15:04, 8 June 2016 (PDT)

Hey thanks! I guess I just get into a rhythm and take care of business.--Kabutton (talk) 16:18, 8 June 2016 (PDT)

Blocking

What's your policy on blocking? I've been tending to only block when a user creates a clearly bot-created page, but it's becoming clearer and clearer which are bots even before then. Do you wait for a page edit? Spookypeanut (talk) 15:29, 12 June 2016 (PDT)

I agree it's usually pretty obvious when an account is spam, but I will usually leave them be unless they make any changes, just to be on the safe side. You've probably noticed the flurry of blocking I've been doing lately. Just a pet project of mine: I've been looking at the user list and (going back to Jan 1 of this year) I've been blocking users that made spam user pages, especially those that link to external sites. A while back Pete mass-deleted a bunch of spam user pages but left a lot of the accounts unblocked , so I've been going back and looking at deleted user contributions to see who else should be blocked. I doubt this makes much of a difference, but it makes me feel better, like I'm doing something. --Kabutton (talk) 16:19, 12 June 2016 (PDT)

Hi. Do you think anyone is reading the Wiki? Is there a way of finding that out? I'd love to know if we're having an impact, or is that the wrong way to look at it? Should it be, "we're doing this for the fun"? Let me know what you think.--Dl1846 (talk) 07:12, 11 September 2016 (PDT)

People are totally reading it. I love watching the numbers go up on Special:PopularPages and Special:Statistics --Kabutton (talk) 17:34, 11 September 2016 (PDT)

Excellent - thanks.--Dl1846 (talk) 01:40, 14 September 2016 (PDT)

Hi. Would you consider making me an admin, primarily so that I can delete spam pages? Thanks for considering this.--Dl1846 (talk) 16:58, 11 September 2016 (PDT)

Only User:PeteTheRetailer can do that. I'd ask him. --Kabutton (talk) 17:34, 11 September 2016 (PDT)

Roger roger. Thanks.--Dl1846 (talk) 01:40, 14 September 2016 (PDT)
