The Jek Porkins Memorial Sexology is an occasional recurring segment of Star Wars Minute: Weekend Edition. It first occurred in SWM:WE 10. A topic is provided, by host, guest or listener, and Pete and Alex each list their top three. When they have a guest, they will all list two things, to maintain the total of six things. For a list of episodes that feature the JPMS, see JPMS episodes.

Name

The name honors Lt. Jek Porkins, whose callsign was 'Red Six' before he was killed at the Battle of Yavin. The word "sexology" (when taken to mean a list of six) should actually be "hexalogy".

The first instances were unnamed: the name was introduced in SWM:WE 19.

Theme

The Jek Porkins Memorial Sexology theme tune, which debuted on SWM:WE 25 (and the separate closing theme on SWM:WE 28), is played by Tony Thaxton and his band "live" every week:

Alex gonna name his top three things, and then
Pete is gonna name his top three things
That'll make a total of six things, it's the
