Template name

I'm not sure about the name of this template. Is it ridiculous to have the colon in it? Should we user SWMWETemplate or WeekendTemplate (or something else)? Spookypeanut (talk) 08:27, 20 April 2016 (PDT)

Since the template shows up as Template:SWM:WETemplate, why not just name the template SWM:WE so it shows up as Template:SWM:WE since the proper abbreviation for the show is SWM:WE. Thanks for asking for my input --Kabutton (talk) 10:10, 20 April 2016 (PDT)

Could do that, but I made the others with "template" at the end now. Are you thinking we remove it from all? I just think it makes it clearer when using it, e.g. {{EpisodeTemplate}}, but I don't feel strongly either way. The thing I do feel strongly about is that all the page template names should be consistent Spookypeanut (talk) 23:07, 20 April 2016 (PDT)

Link

Do you think the SWM:WE template needs a link section? I was thinking not because it's only available to patreon supporters. Thoughts?--Kabutton (talk) 19:23, 20 April 2016 (PDT)

I think it would be useful, to Patreon supporters. Maybe we change the heading to "Link (Patreons only)" Spookypeanut (talk) 23:08, 20 April 2016 (PDT)

Good call. --Kabutton (talk) 04:20, 21 April 2016 (PDT)

Duration

I like the addition of duration. Any reason you prefer h:mm:ss format? For the statistics section of guest pages, we use # hours, ## minutes, ## seconds format. I don't particularly have a preference, but I wonder if we should try to be consistent. --Kabutton (talk) 08:32, 13 June 2016 (PDT)

Just less wordy I guess, but no, no strong feelings. We can go that way if it's easier. Spookypeanut (talk) 08:34, 13 June 2016 (PDT)

I think the longer format is more aesthetically pleasing? But I do like the less wordy angle. Since they appear on different page types (guest vs SWM:WE) I don't see any reason that they have to be the same.--Kabutton (talk) 08:36, 13 June 2016 (PDT)

I think the two formats work better in their own contexts than the other. When talking about the duration of an audio file, h:mm:ss seems most suitable, but when discussing a total time that is of interest, the long form seems better. So I'm happy with this particular inconsitency :-) Spookypeanut (talk) 14:27, 15 June 2016 (PDT)

Cool me to --Kabutton (talk) 14:51, 15 June 2016 (PDT)

Help me Obi-Wan Khai-nobi, you're my only hope!

What did I do wrong with my exprs on this template? It broke this: Star_Wars_Minute:_Weekend_Edition_159. I tried to copy from Template:EpisodeTemplate, but I must have screwed up somewhere. Spookypeanut (talk) 06:02, 9 May 2018 (PDT)

I FIXED IT! I forgot that SWM:WE only takes one argument, whereas the standard episode template takes two. Woohoo! Thanks for this, will make life much easier :-) Spookypeanut (talk) 06:06, 9 May 2018 (PDT)
