Tim Kreider is an essayist and cartoonist. His most recent book is We Learn Nothing (available on Amazon). His cartoon, "The Pain--When Will It End?" ran for twelve years in the Baltimore City Paper and other alternative weeklies, and is archived at The Pain Comics. He is a big fan of the work of pyrotechnics expert Joe Viskocil, and the guys usually call him in to discuss the odd explosion or two. Tim divides his time between a Turret in New York City and an Undisclosed Location on the Chesapeake Bay.
