The owner and founder of Dueling Genre Productions, Scott Carelli is a writer, director, and podcaster. Since 2005, he has found himself talking into a mic about pop culture of all kinds on podcasts but is especially fond of the movies by minute format. He was the co-host of Back to the Future Minute which wrapped up its coverage of the Back to the Future trilogy with 340 episodes. In 2017, he launched Spider-Man Minute which covered every Spider-Man film, beginning with Sam Raimi's 2002 film starring Tobey Maguire. Since 2009, he's been the host of The Doctor's Companion, a Doctor Who podcast that covers every episode of the BBC series one Doctor at a time.

When he's not hosting a podcast, he's usually writing Geek by Night, the original audio drama he created and executive produces. Geek By Night is the story of a group of friends running a comic shop together who suddenly and mysteriously get superpowers as they struggle with transitioning from their 20s to their 30s. The series is about fandom, friendship and growing up, with all the comedy and drama that happens in the process. Beyond that, he's also written and directed three short films and is currently working on his first feature. He really loves movies.
