Great job on the recent updates, User:Dl1846! I knew those guys counted as SWM Characters, but just couldn't think what to write. --Kabutton (talk) 04:08, 14 September 2016 (PDT)

Greedo

Do you think Greedo belongs in this page? Pete has a special fondness for the character, to be sure, but (and I hate to say this) he's almost too mainstream since people other than fans of SWM might actually know his name. --Kabutton (talk) 19:04, 10 May 2016 (PDT)

I know what you mean. I'm thinking not: there aren't any particular running jokes about Greedo, are there? He's brought up regularly, yes, but I dunno, it seems to be just because he's always at the front of Pete's mind :-) Spookypeanut (talk) 04:31, 12 May 2016 (PDT)

t-shirt

I added in the original SWM t-shirt to the SWM Characters page. I think I got all the characters right in the caption, but please let me know if you spot any errors.--Kabutton (talk) 17:35, 23 May 2016 (PDT)

The Death Star

What are your thoughts on adding "The Death Star" to this page? Its not a character per se, but the hosts certainly talk about it as if it is and have really developed a little SWM world within DS-1. Examples:

  • The Death Star having inner and outer rings that a) rotate at different speeds and b) are separated by the chasm that Luke and Leia swing across.
  • The interior of The Death Star having a long path or ramp that runs around the space station from top to bottom and then back again.

(I mean, how good are these ideas? Pete and Alex are really very clever!)

Alternatively, and I may have answered my own question here, what about a 'key locations' page or something like that? It wouldn't be every location in the movie, just the ones that they keep referring back to.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts and we'll go from there. Thanks.--Dl1846 (talk) 09:10, 25 September 2016 (PDT)

I do like the idea of a "locations" page. I think that some good additions would be any place that would make a good location of theme for a hotel/hotel room, which is brought up several times. Examples are the Lars homestead, cloud city, Dagobah, Naboo/Theed, and others. --Kabutton (talk) 20:56, 25 September 2016 (PDT)

Great - I've started the page here - Key SWM Movie Locations - and have added hotel / hotel room items. We can build the page out as we go. Thanks.--Dl1846 (talk) 22:13, 25 September 2016 (PDT)

Wedge

As I'm re-listening to Empire, I'm realizing that they sure do talk about Wedge a lot. Do you think he counts as SWM character? I hate to say this, but he's almost a little too "mainstream" to count.--Kabutton (talk) 08:57, 15 October 2016 (PDT)

Ric Olié

Another potential SWM Character, unless you think he belongs under "Running Jokes" instead. --Kabutton (talk) 19:07, 3 December 2016 (PST)

Wikipedia links

Wow, you have been busy! Much neater, good work Spookypeanut (talk) 05:23, 8 November 2017 (PST)

Hey thanks! I only recently discovered that MediaWiki came packaged with that function, and I liked the sleek look it gave those links. --Kabutton (talk) 08:38, 8 November 2017 (PST)
